2013 April

I'm welcoming Ashleigh into the organization. She will be communicating with many of you regarding my classes, weekend seminars, scheduling for clients and press releases. I'm very excited with the possibilities that are opening up!

Over the next half of the year, I will be developing a new website to better serve the needs of those interested in education.

As of July Servant's Retreat 2 is now open to attendees who haven't attended SR1. I was given an extremely compelling argument and have changed the policy.

I'm working on my schedule for the last half of 2013 and winter/spring of 2014. So have a look at where Foundations in Mastery, Servant's Retreat I, The Nine Fold Path and Servant's Retreat II will be held. Or contact me if you'd like to see one of those in your area.

Please look for some changes coming to my websites. I hope to offer some exciting changes, further development opportunties and a bit of fun for the future.

With uncontained excitment,

New Certifacation

I am happy to announce I have added a new certifaction to my repertoire. I am now a Board Certified Coach. The Center for Credentialing and Education (CCE) created the Board Certified Coach (BCC) credential as a means to independently verify that applicants have met professional coaching competency standards established by CCE and subject matter experts. These standards reflect the common knowledge, skills and abilities of a professional coach. The BCC is a mark of quality. It demonstrates to the public that a professional coach has:
  • Met educational and training requirements
  • Passed a psychometrically sound coach specific examination
  • Obtained experience in the field of coaching
  • Professional peer references
  • Accountability of an enforceable ethics code
  • Commitment to continuing education
The achievement of the Board Certified Coach credential solidifies the professional identity of the coach. The BCC credential is attractive to professionals who would like to provide independent third party verification that they have achieved certain coaching competency standards.

BDSM Toys for beginners

When introducing BDSM into a relationship or seeking an exclusively BDSM relationship, there are a certain toys every dom and sub will need. In the beginning you can make do with scarves, ties and rope, but you'll want to graduate into the big guns once you've gotten the hang of the others. Check out this list of toys for beginning or not so beginner BDSM couples.

Let's start with the essentials:

A blindfold is a great tool to dominate your sub's senses. Take away their ability to see and simultaneously heighten their other senses. They won't know what's coming next. You could tease them for hours, leave them there waiting or dive right in; they'll be surprised either way.

Bondage Tape is a great alternative to scarves, ties or handcuffs and it's also very versatile. The tape sticks to itself, so there's no pain when removing. If it's pain you're after, try duct tape. Bondage tape comes in a giant roll and call allow you to hook your sub's feet to their hands. Their hands to the bed or their body to yours. The opportunities are endless.

An over-the-door or under-the-bed bondage kit.
Either one works great and can work on any size bed or door. You can find both of these kits at http://www.adameve.com. I highly recommend these kits because you even travel with them. Simply slip these under your mattress or over your door and strap your sub in. They will instantly form an X and will be forced to listen to your ever word and take whatever it is you want to give them.

If you want to step it up a notch, try some of these toys...

You can usually find Spreader Bars in metal, but also come in a little less intense fabric option too. However the fabric option doesn't force your sub to keep their legs or arms open. Simply strap the spreader bar between their wrists and ankles and watch how it forces your sub to main an open position. I personally recommend using it on their ankles, but also great if you don't want their pesky hands getting in the way.

Wearing a collar is a mark of distinction in the BDSM world and is seen as a great honor. When you collar your sub it lets them know that they are yours, so show how much you care and get one for them. Make it really special and have something embroidered onto it. This is usually seen as a reward, but if you wanted to, you could use it as a punishment as well and have your sub wear it when they misbehave. A collar is also a good way to incorporate light choking into sex, however, please proceed with caution.

Nipple Clamps work great on men or women and are a fantastic way to make their nipples look good, while giving them pain or pleasure (depending on the tightness of the clamp). Get the signature metal ones or opt for a feather adorned pair. You can even get a pair that "electrocutes" the wearer. If you're looking for a mix of pleasure and pain, be sure to get the kind that has an adjustable tightening knob. That way when your sub behaves you can loosen it and when they don't, well, you can tighten it extra hard.

Whips are a basic you're going to see in most toy bags. They make lots of different kind of whips out there, but I'm a big fan of the leather metal lined ones that provide lots of sensational pain. If you're looking for a little less markage and pain opt for the plastic or fabric ones. Couple a whip with the nipple clamps and watch your sub melt.

Remember to always have a safe word set up and to proceed with caution when using any toy that could harm your sub. Be sure to know their limits and listen to their body language. Sign up for my newsletter for discounts and news!
