oooh la la!

April 13th, 2010

It’s been a while since I updated our progress. it’s been trippy. We’ve been adding so much goodness that not even the fast publishing pace of the web can keep up. I’m so looking forward to going home after this last pass and working on SELF full time for a while.

We’re adding in some cool goodness for CSP holders and I really hope people like how this works out. :)

We’re deep into the business of this and it’s going to ramp up further. I’m heading to SF this week to support Miss Rae’s bid for the title. I have every confidence she’s going to do well and have a great experience. The competition is stiff and friendly this year.

all in good order

January 17th, 2010

It’s been a super busy SELF week. I’ve spent at least ten hours this week in meetings. I have another two hour meeting schedule tomorrow too.

There are lots and lots of trainings going on. Operations has been super busy this week. We’re scheduling classes, working with the hotel, and running our op boards. I was really excited this week when we found out that the hotel is 82% full. That’s fantastic. I think we’re going to take the whole hotel and sell them out. That is going to be a rocking environment.

We’ve also been working on making sure there are extra benefits for our CSP holders. I think those bonuses are going to be fantastic. I’m looking forward to a little extra fun. I bought my package over a month ago and even I’m excited. I think it’s a good sign when the producers are excited.

Our sponsorship department is about to kick into high gear. We went into package creation and various opportunities. I think it’s going to be a good year. We’ve got some great charities and we’re going to work very hard for them. Speaking of, I did some work on the roll out and extras that we’re giving to our charities. We’re designing some excellent excite there and I think we’ll announce that in March– hummm…that might be April.

I also have a meeting later this week. I’m debating if SELF can take on another charity. The work is so important that I honestly need to make the extra effort and see if it’s possible. I hope it is. I’ll work on some pieces of that later today.

This week the publicity dept was busy too! It was good to get the press releases out about Kinky Prom. That’s just a few weeks away and it’s going to be big fun. I can’t wait to enjoy all of it. I intend to dance for hours. I did last year…. LOL…. there were several people who asked how I have that much energy. Just plug in at night and sleep well. : )
