I have waited all year to celebrate Black Rose’s 20th Anniversary. I feel that BR has made a tremendous contribution to various types of SM communities. I recall clearly when BR was the largest educational event the country had ever seen. As far as I am concerned it is one of the events that is de riguer.

Every year when I attend, I come home renewed, recharged, and truly pleased to be a part of BR. This year will be no different. They have outdone themselves in every way.

They also asked for something very unusual from me. They asked me to give a class on me. It was a deep compliment and very different for me. The focus of my classes is on those who attend. My focus is generally to provide information and exploration of the topic being presented. It took some long conversations to convince me that a class on my life would provide anything useful to attendees. I’m giving the class this morning– I’ll let you know. More to come on BR.
