Mid-Atlantic LeatherSir, Leatherboy, and Leatherwoman Contest

Saturday, March 24th, 2012

I spent the day watching an amazing group of people compete for the Mid-Atlantic titles. A club sister, was competing for Mid-Atlantic Leatherwoman. She did an outstanding job. Her fantasy became everyone’s fantasy. It was hot, involved cages, fences, heat, and surprises. This was rounded out with a solid speech. Toni took title with a score of 92%. Truly sensational. I made new friends who I hope to see again soon. I saw old friends who I had not seen in a very long time. That alone will leave me smiling for days. I played and laughed.

I met a bootblack who applied with their tongue. I was inspired to be publicly raunchy. To say their was kicking, rocking and some untoward behavior– well, there was. And yes it was good. This is the first person to touch a pair of my boots who I didn’t love in twenty-one years. All I am going to say is– ha, a good choice was made.

My phone died at noon today–ridiculous. What a drag! I would have loved to have tweeted pictures and fun updates.

A few thank you moments are in order. Thanks to the impromptu kneeling bait! You’re the best. I’m so fortunate to have your family’s friendship. Thank you to the beautiful old dog who came to me, sat on my boots, leaned into me and just loved on me sweetly. Thank you to the unique woman who finds it interesting how the universe keeps changing my well planned schedule– I’m going to recall the wall, your words and the totally joyous inappropriate za-za-zoom. Thank you to my dear friend who made sure I was shiny, well fluffed and knew that sheer latex is back in! Thank you to the handsome twosome who watered me, fed me a great contraband hotdog treat and were wonderful company. Thank you to two old friends who made me laugh and gave connection in the best ways. Thank you to the couple who was so straight forward and really kind- you are both inspiring. Ohh…and yes, all good things happen in bathrooms, yes? Enough said.

And to the six of you at the house where I changed tonight– I’m going to replay the Jessica Rabbit comment and how each one of you told me I was beautiful. That was generous, kind and you’ve made my year.

So I had a tremendous amount of fun today, I hope you did too.
I’m sure I have
